Revealing The Strangest Secret
The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale is a jewel in my crown! It’s a must read (or listen) for anyone looking to make impactful life changes and improvements. This book was the gem of Nightingale’s audio recordings for me, and has made a profound impact on my life.
Originally I was introduced to The Strangest Secret by my hero, Bernie. In fact, it was the first gift he gave me when we were dating. After we married, I noticed just how much the little book, The Strangest Secret, served as a catalyst (along with his work ethic) to him earning his first million dollars in business. Similarly, I have learned from this book principles that have helped to guide my decisions personally and professionally.
You may be asking: “Who is Earl Nightingale?” or “What is The Strangest Secret?” or “Why is it relevant to me – today?’ While many are familiar with The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, or have heard motivational advice from the likes of Tony Robbins and others, few younger generations seem to be woke to the original source of these lessons.
Earl Nightingale was a pioneer in the self-help and motivational industry. He was also a radio program host inspired by reading Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, and in 1956 he recorded the spoken word album, The Strangest Secret. It went on to sell over a million copies and became the first spoken-word record to go Gold.
Our world has significantly changed since Earl shared his principles in the 1950’s, but his message is perhaps now more relevant than ever. Technology has supported our societies to be more informed and connected. Still, people are more lost, unhappy, and dissatisfied than ever. Young people are despondent, fearful, uncertain, and have lost a measure of hope and excitement about their futures. Sadly from what I can tell, an entire generation has never heard of Earl Nightingale nor The Strangest Secret. Now they will greatly benefit from this message. My timeless piece about motivation, mindfulness, and character development will impact the world as the gift that keeps on giving, and I want to share this gift with you.
Truly, I’m fully lit about my partnership with Nightingale-Conant, and will be re-recording and releasing several audiobooks of Nightingale’s recordings, beginning with The Strangest Secret. My re-releases contain more inclusive messaging and my updates include statistics and quotes from some of our greatest thought leaders, including Nelson Mandela and Buddha. My versions are gender-inclusive, and for the first time, contain a women’s point of view. Many of these older books focused on saying things such as: “when a man” instead of “when a person” – and I believe that words matter and do make a difference.
You can download my updated The Strangest Secret audiobook on Nightingale.com and Audible. It is my hope that all of us will now gain new wisdom from Earl Nightingale’s original recordings and apply them to our lives. What has been so instrumental in my own business and personal success can now bring you the same! In the words of Nightingale, “We become what we think about.” Remember “you have nothing to lose but you have a life to win.”
